Groeten!

Greetings! My name is Pete Hendrix of American Artisan company Hendrix Classics & Co. We focus on affordable luxury and high quality. I was a shaving enthusiast before becoming an artisan. I'm glad that I've been able to partner with Anticatura as it makes our products available to EU customers without paying all the duties and taxes that come with shipments from the US.

I've shaved with all types of razors, although like single and double edge razors most. I like the GEM 1912 for single edge shaving and a double-edge we used to sell with Statum, Gillette Nacet or Gillette 7 o'clock Black Super Platinums in it. I bowl later. I like the synthetics brushes best, especially the latest generation knots. I love badgers, although like super soft tips and a lot of backbone. I haven't been able to consistently find badger knots that deliver in these areas.

Of course, I use our soaps a lot. I also like other artisans as well. Strike Gold Shave, Barrister & Mann Seville and Talbot's Cades Cove are all nice.

It's great to be here and I look forward to getting to know folks!!

Welcome Pete! @ Hendrix Classics and Co.

Im a big fan of your straight bowl! I use it on a daily basis. Any chance that they will be available at Anticatura?

Best regards

Levi

Levi,  I'm so glad you like the bowl.  I spent a lot of time on research and development with it.  I'll have a shipment for Anticatura in the next three weeks and will discuss this with them.  If anyone wants an HCC product that Anel (Anel owns Anticatura) doesn't have, I will try to arrange to send it.

Yes I would love to try a round wall, it would be interesting to see what’s the difference between them when making lather. Anel is a great guy and I have plenty of chats with him so I will try to persuade him too 😅😂. I’ve bought the straight wall directly from you but with shipping cost and customs this was expensive almost triples the price so it would be a great opportunity to buy directly from Anticatura.

I'm in the market for a new bowl (the wooden one from TGS is...well.... quality wise not the best one I had)
So I keep an eye on this one :)

Anel agreed to let me send a couple.  If you think you will purchase one, feel free to go to our website and choose the kind you would like. It is www.hendrixclassics.com @ Levi  as it turns out, there is one round wall left.  There probably won't be anymore as I would have to pay for a die to be made.  There isn't a tremendous amount of difference between the two bowls.  The combo of the straight wall and the raised lines in the bowl, laid out the way they are; yield a bowl that is a performance machine.  The round wall takes part of that away.  It doesn't make a huge difference, though does make a difference.
